How is predicting the outcome different from predicting the score?
A 2–0 home-win prediction and an actual 1–0 home win count as a correct outcome and an incorrect exact score. Each metric divides its own number of correct predictions by the number of settled matches included.
Which matches count in the public track record?
TATASOCCER takes up to 5,000 records ordered by the latest prediction update. A match counts if it is finished, has a usable score and has a readable outcome prediction. For knockout matches with a regulation score, both metrics use that score.
How do 6 correct picks out of 8 and 56 out of 80 compare?
The rates are 75% and 70%. Check the league, time period, prediction timing and inclusion rules before comparing. In the eight-match sample, one more correct result changes the rate by 12.5 percentage points. Historical accuracy alone cannot establish future performance or returns.
